Day 1

Day 2

EXPERIENCES AMONG VINEYARDS

Enjoy an electric bike ride through the heart of the Rioja Alavesa, drinking in the marvellous landscape.

VISIT TO A WINERY WITH TASTING

Wineries represent the very heart of the Rioja Alavesa. Some can be found in centuries-old underground cellars where you still breathe in tradition, others are characterised by winemakers who have adapted their facilities while still maintaining the authenticity of family vineyards.

WINE BAR

A wine bar is the perfect place in which to enjoy wine and the essence of a winery without the need to visit all its facilities. A must for any genuine wine lover.

CULTURAL VISIT

Day 3

VISIT TO VITORIA-GASTEIZ’S MEDIEVAL CENTRE

Explore Vitoria-Gasteiz’s medieval centre which has been declared a Monumental Ensemble. Its medieval layout is still intact, meaning that a stroll through its streets is to travel through the city’s history as you discover the old walls, civic buildings, palaces, tower houses and churches that evoke Gothic, Renaissance, baroque and neoclassical architectural styles.

VISIT TO A WINERY WITH TASTING

The origins of txakoli, whose Basque name means literally “home-made wine”, goes back to the IX century in Álava. Discover the curiosities of this wine with its unique identity, one that is increasingly sought-after by connoisseurs.

VISIT TO THE AÑANA SALT VALLEY

One of the world’s most important cultural, architectural, environmental, archaeological and natural beauty sites. Añana salt is considered to be one of the finest in the world by international experts.

Day 4

VISIT TO A CHEESEMAKER WITH TASTING

Visit to a small artisanal cheese producer that pays the closest possible attention to the process at every stage, from caring for their animals and what they are fed to the crafting of the cheese and their relationship with their customers.

VISIT TO SALVATIERRA-AGURAIN

Discovering the medieval town of Salvatierra-Agurain, walking through its streets and admiring its town walls, is to travel back in time thanks to its well-preserved architectural heritage. You will also get to know two of its genuine treasures, the Gothic paintings of Alaitza and Gazeo.
